Terms of Service

Effective date: January 1, 2025

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using textbook PDF conversion and related services provided by HwpxSnap (the “Service”), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the company and users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. “Service” means the online services provided by HwpxSnap, including PDF region detection, document conversion and formatting.
  2. “User” means a member who uses the Service under these Terms.
  3. “Credits” means virtual points purchased to use the Service.

Article 3 (Eligibility)

  1. The Service is available to individuals aged 14 or older, or legal entities, that have completed registration.
  2. Use of the Service may be restricted if false information is provided during registration.

Article 4 (Credit Policy)

  1. The Service's main features consume credits.
  2. Credits are purchased within the Service. The number consumed by each feature is stated on the pricing page.
  3. Credits are valid for one year from the purchase date.
  4. Credits cannot be transferred to another person or redeemed for cash.

Article 5 (Refund Policy)

  1. Unused credits are eligible for a full refund within seven days of purchase.
  2. For partially used credits, the remaining amount is refunded after deducting the used portion at the regular price.
  3. Refunds are processed using the original payment method.

Article 6 (Restrictions on Use)

  1. The company may restrict use of the Service in the following cases:
    1. Processing another person's copyrighted work without authorization
    2. Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
    3. Using automated tools to make abnormally large numbers of requests

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

  1. The company does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-based conversion results. Users are responsible for reviewing the results.
  2. The company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure, including natural disasters and system failures.

Article 8 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. If a dispute arises in connection with use of the Service, the company and user will consult in good faith to reach an amicable resolution.
  2. If no agreement is reached, the court with jurisdiction over the company's location shall have exclusive jurisdiction by agreement.
